These chestnuts are fresh and do not feel dry like the ones I purchased from the local market.
I guess we missed the assignment! It came raw and very earthy. We washed and dried these castañes. Mind you, this is the first time we have roasted a chestnut. Using a paring knife, we cut a cross on each and roasted these babies in the breville. Man, they can put so sweet! Be sure to purchase these and you'll thank us later.

The first time I used it, I put it in the refrigerator. Get rid of the refrigerator smell! Replace with new one every 2 months.
It's delicious but not as good as the first time. The unicorn is not big and old.. delicious. I'm saving and buying again
