Ginger

Don't fear ginger's gnarly appearance. Once peeled, it's pretty much superman. Known for its medicinal qualities such as nausea and indigestion relief, the list is kind of endless. Also, it's delicious in stir-fries, soups, and desserts. Spicy and sweet, it deserves its own round of applause.
